ONE WEEK OLD

Little smile - he actually chuckled in his sleep the other day too..so cute!

SO - one week! yah...and I am feeling much better - thanks to my hubby helping out and my mom - who came and I seriously do not know what we would have done without her. ? Boggles my mind how others do it with no one around to help.

So - Ethan has been pointing to Ezra's face parts naming them, and he says "eat" when he is eating and sometimes he'll say shhh..anyway he is missing some attention from me - but Dad is really becoming his new best friend as he has spent a lot more time with him playing etc...

Elora is acting the mom when Ezra seems to need help...much more this time than with Ethan, and its quite sweet to watch when I catch her trying to be me. Ezra's first week was full of doctors appointments and 5 pricks to his heel due to his jaundice, not fun...but he seems to have leveled out so we don't go back until this Wednesday. Ezra so far is a much better baby than Ethan and very gratfully so...he is a great eater and pretty good sleeper - I think some of this is related to my diet..but overall adjusting really well.

Grandpa Bennett is here for 5 days and then we welcome Grandma Yi on Friday night...we're all excited to see her since its been since March since we have seen her. And of course Dad is missing out on her food!

Ezra is a joy - and i find myself staring at him like I have never had a newborn, he is such a cute little baby and I love seeing his smiles whilst sleeping and his new folded ears, and super soft skin, and how he smells like nothing - just new! all those newborn moments that are just so precious and oh sooo short! Makes me sad everytime, so for now we're just enjoying it as much as possible. So grateful for our new healthy baby boy!
